Happy Halloween!

Yay! It's Halloween! My very favorite holiday! I'm not sure why it's my favorite holiday, but it is. I guess because I can dress up and be something I can't be any other time of the year. (I'm actually a very shy person. Being someone...or something, allows me to be more open and not so shy. :D Plus, I like being scared, but only a little. Too much scary stuff really freaks me out! Lol! :) Hope you have a fun and safe Halloween!

A Quick Sketch

Here's a quick sketch I did. Hope you like it! I might do somethingmore with it later, so be sure to look for it, just in case! :)

Okay, I'm moving up!

I finally, after a couple of months, have an online portfolio! Be sure to check it out! The link is under my profile on the right, or you can scroll down and see the post. Some of my stuff are pictures I've already posted on here, but there are a few new, different things I've included as well. Be sure to check them out! I'd love to hear what you think! You can leave a comment or email me any time! :)

Quote of the Week

"Imagination is the highest kite one can fly." ~Lauren Bacall

*I can't seem to upload my quote of the week picture at the moment, so I'm afraid this week's quote won't have a picture. Sorry. :)

Update

Okay, I didn't win the Mary Engelbreit contest. :( But that's okay, because I still get a signed copy of her Mother Goose book! :D You can go here to see the winner and her entry. Congrats to the winner, Joy Codd! You had some great ideas! :)

Monsters! They're everywhere!

Okay, I decided to enter yet another contest. :) This one is hosted at Monster Mash, which you can still enter here if you hurry! (It ends Oct. 31st!) Here's my sketch and my final piece I submitted. Also, did you notice my new header? :)

Finally...some fall weather!

Finally! There's some cool, autumn weather coming in! So, I decided to post up my bat, since Halloween is next week, and I haven't been able to decorate outside much this year, since I just haven't had the time or the energy. :) So, since Halloween's my favorite time of year, here's another contribution to show it! :D

One cute little piggy!

Okay, I was feeling creative again, and decided to use the Graffiti application to let out that creativity. And look at the cute little piggy I created! Does he remind you of anyone? :)

Then I was still feeling creative, so I did one of my bugs. (They're so easy to draw! :D) I've been wanting to do one that was kind of low, like he was hiding, because I thought it would be cute, so I finally did. :)

A new camera means new pictures!

Okay, I just got my new camera in last week, and I've been snapping away! I love taking pictures, so I've been experimenting with the applications and stuff included on it. I think I liked my old camera's layout better, but this one does have more features. :) And an awesome zoom! So, here are a few pics I've snapped over the past week.

Hope you like them! :D

Oh, and just in case you're wondering, it's a Cannon Powershot A560. My last one was a Cannon A510.
If you're looking for something to take a picture of, remember that trees are always good. Especially during the fall when they change color. :)
