Art Supplies

I love seeing what other people use to create their art and what they have in their supplies, so I thought it might be fun to share what I normally use for my art. I think the photo is self explanatory enough, so I'll cease writing and let you simply enjoy the pic. ;)

A new camera means new pictures!

Okay, I just got my new camera in last week, and I've been snapping away! I love taking pictures, so I've been experimenting with the applications and stuff included on it. I think I liked my old camera's layout better, but this one does have more features. :) And an awesome zoom! So, here are a few pics I've snapped over the past week.

Oh, and just in case you're wondering, it's a Cannon Powershot A560. My last one was a Cannon A510.

If you're looking for something to take a picture of, remember that trees are always good. Especially during the fall when they change color. :)

Chicka chickas

I love this picture, even though it's not my best work. It really doesn't even make sense, but I think it's so cute. It's 3 birds, not penguins, in a tree. I applied the "scrapbooking" technique to this, since I cut out the limb, leaves, and birds and painted them before glueing them down over my painting of the tree. Right now, I have this picture framed and hanging in my room. There's just something about it that I love. :)
