Another sketch I decided to color. I experimented with it as well, but it came out much closer to what I had in mind.

I started this from one of the sketches I recently shared. I liked the composition and I do like the colors I used, more or less, but I experimented with texture and my line work and I'm not happy with the results of those at all. Regardless, I thought I would share it with you guys. I may rework it to try play around with my techniques a bit more.

*Sorry for the top being so close/cut off looking. This was just for fun so the display wasn't a huge priority when I decided to share it.

A little crabby...

When you're sick, it's easy to let the sickness take over so that little things, no matter what they are, will get on your nerves and make you feel worse, so that when someone asks you something, you angrily snap back at them. Essentially, being sick can make us a little...well, crabby. And since I've been sick this week, I know I've been a bit crabby to everyone, although I do try to apologize if I am. Still, I thought I would post this cute little crabby I made with my tablet so that even though we can all be a bit crabby at times, we can also be nice little crabs as well. :)

Let the show begin!

I absolutely love this picture. I created it with my watercolor pencils and ink, and thought it was just so cute! It looks like this frog prince is standing in front of a curtain to me, so I guess he's the one telling everyone that the show is about to begin! :)

Something of a self portrait

I did this in Windows Xp's "paint" program with my mouse, and I guess it's something of a self portrait. I don't exactly look like this (my glasses don't look ANYTHING like Harry Potter's either), but I supposed it's how I imagine a version of my cartoon self to look. Still, I thought I would post it and let you see what I've been working on this weekend.

Get a Grip...

I actually stole this idea and transformed it abit, so it's really not my own and therefore it must stay in my own private collection. :) (In case you don't recognize it, the face is from the back of the Gripz candy boxes, hence the title.) Still, I thought I'd post it just to show how much better I'm getting at my artwork, even if I did copy it. I did paint it myself, so it is my own work. I just changed it from a person eating snacks to one who's screaming because they're about to get a shot. It reminds me of going back to school and getting a checkup. :)
