Hello bunny
Some time ago, probably a year or two now, I painted this silly little bunny onto a blank wall canvas. At the time, I ended up getting bored with it, not sure what to do with it, and sort of just left it to stay as it was. It hung on my studio wall for ages. And then, looking for something to do one day, i ripped it down and started painting the background. I really loved how it turned out. It's clearly not complete, but for now it's gone back on my studio wall until I can figure out what to do with it next. See you next crafting time!

Happy Mothers Day
This weekend is Mother's day here in the US, so I thought I would doodle
a little something silly for it. Hopefully this dude makes it up to her
later with an actual gift or something. :P
Oh, and happy mothers day to all the mothers out there. Whether it's a celebrated holiday where you are or not, mother's should always be appreciated for all they do. And on more then just one day I think, too. <3 p="">

Dancing cat
A couple of pieces where I've been practicing my illustration techniques and layouts. I'm so rusty! I haven't really done anything 'illustrated' in ages. Just stand alone images usually. I'm not happy with the complete outcome of the room so far. But I like the look of the floor and wall. But I think the dancing cat would look better in an other environment. Hopefully I'll get around to creating something more accommodating for her soon. :)

New stuff!
More practice in Adobe Illustrator and Paint Tool SAI. I decided to post this piece up on my Society6 page as I liked how it came out. I hope you all like it, too. :)
Some practice in Illustrator creating icons or website buttons. I like how the top three at the end came out. :)
Something silly for practice. Although I really like the look of these scraggly plants. Illustrator is so much fun to use once you get the hang of it. LoL!

Jack the Kitten is now available on Amazon!

My first illustrated book is now available on Amazon! :D Woohoo! If you haven't gotten your copy yet, be sure to order one now. It will make a great christmas gift and with Amazon's Free Super Saver Shipping, it should arrive just in time. :D
I believe Amazon has the book available to other countries as well, so if you live outside the US, you should be able to get a copy, too! :D

Chicka chickas

I love this picture, even though it's not my best work. It really doesn't even make sense, but I think it's so cute. It's 3 birds, not penguins, in a tree. I applied the "scrapbooking" technique to this, since I cut out the limb, leaves, and birds and painted them before glueing them down over my painting of the tree. Right now, I have this picture framed and hanging in my room. There's just something about it that I love. :)

My Prince
Lately, another friend and I have been talking alot about finding out "Prince Charming"s. For some reason, I keep thinking about fairytales and the young girl who kissed the frog who was really a prince. I even sent her a card I made (which looked more like a brochure) that was like a flyer for a kingdom. In is, I said that "Prince Charming" was missing and had a picture of a frog on the front.
So, I thought over the weekend that this would suit us quite nicely. I have a story in mind for this picture, but have yet to put any of it on paper. I guess I'm still working out the kinks. :)
If anyone else is looking for their prince charmings, always remember that they'll be in the last place you look. And don't forget those swamps! Even in the least likely of places there are treasures! Lol! :)

The Circus
A friend of mine recently had a birthday party for her son with a circus theme. I was asked to come up with the cover for the invitations. I quickly did this picture, even though I didn't go with it. Still, I really was quite satisfied with the way it turned out. The tent is made of tissue paper.
