Wall art and halloween decorations

I cleaned out some of my craft space yesterday and found a bunch of stuff I forgot I had. Decided to do a little painting today and created these. A top hat wearing moustachtic mister and a friendly octopus. 😆 I feel like the top hat guy needs something else but for now he'll stay as is I guess. #freckledfawn #blooperbundle #michaels #woodencrafts #woodenaccents #diypainting #sillyart

Also forgot I just got this skull stand from target a few weeks ago in the dollar spot. Decided to paint him up, give him a crown from my wood stash and added the little bottle I made a couple of years ago and haven't quite found a home for ( until now!). Now just to make time to set up all my Halloween decorations! 😬 #halloween #targetdollarspot #skull #skeleton #potionsbottle #painting #kingscully #michaels #woodenaccents

A little bit of creativity

Like I said in my previous post, I haven't had a lot of time to be creative lately, but here's a few little things over the last few months that I've done to try to keep those creative juices flowing.  Doodling, painting and keeping some sort of notebook seems to be about it lately.  I often find myself practicing lettering styles more than anything.

It's finally Halloween! :D

Happy Halloween fellow bloggers!

Just wanted to share some other pieces with you that are holiday related. :)

This piece is just...old. And crazy. Just like me, pretty much. XD

Another old piece. Sorry for it's tiny size. :S

Something I created last night for practice and fun. I love the Nightmare Before Christmas, especially the mayor. Something about him is just so adorable and quirky. I couldn't resist drawing him up. Hope you like him. I also thought I'd add him to my Society 6 page here.

More random line arts. Sorry if this is a repeat share. I thought it would be fun to share for today. :)

Another old piece. Very old. And ugly. But hopefully it's ugliness makes it more spooky. That something so hideous could have ever been created. LoL! XD

Hope everyone has a lovely and safe Halloween! Also have some pumpkin pictures I forgot to share. Might share them later this week if I remember. ;)

Almost Halloween!

Sorry I haven't posted anything for the past few weeks. Been busy and uncreative. :P However, halloween seems to have rekindled my art bug and I'm suddenly all excited about art again! :D

I just found this awesome website and video today, which I love.

And Holli hosting her Pumpkin Junkin contest again this year, so be sure to enter! ;D

Time to junk your pumpkin!

I'm way behind on posts, but I finally got my pumpkin junked and just submitted it in and wanted to share it with ya'll. ;D

If you want to junk your own pumpkin, you can submit it here. Or you can visit Holli here and check out her awesome art! ;D

Happy Halloween to everyone! :)

*Update* I won second prize in this contest and received a copy of one of Holli's awesome pieces. Yay!

The last, last, last one.

This has to be my last scary, halloween-ish picture of the year, because I'M starting to get burnt out on them....and I LOVE Halloween! :D This was another picture I did over the weekend, using my scrapbooking method. I thought it was cute. :) Hope you enjoy!

One last picture

Okay, here's one last picture with some Halloween-ish colors. I did this on my laptop with my mouse and am extremely proud of how good it turned out. So, I thought I would share it as my last Halloween picture of the year. Maybe. ;) I've already started working on Thanksgiving and Christmas art, so this probably will be my last Halloween pic for awhile. :)

Happy Halloween!

Yay! It's Halloween! My very favorite holiday! I'm not sure why it's my favorite holiday, but it is. I guess because I can dress up and be something I can't be any other time of the year. (I'm actually a very shy person. Being someone...or something, allows me to be more open and not so shy. :D Plus, I like being scared, but only a little. Too much scary stuff really freaks me out! Lol! :) Hope you have a fun and safe Halloween!

Finally...some fall weather!

Finally! There's some cool, autumn weather coming in! So, I decided to post up my bat, since Halloween is next week, and I haven't been able to decorate outside much this year, since I just haven't had the time or the energy. :) So, since Halloween's my favorite time of year, here's another contribution to show it! :D

I want to junk my pumpkin!

Okay, this is the neatest thing. I came across this lady's blog when someone referred it to me, and I absolutely love it. Her name is Holli and she's an illustrator, of sorts. :) She constantly updates her blog, so there's always something to read there, unlike mine. :) She's started a new idea, though, called Pumpkin Junkin', where you 'junk' your pumpkin. You can go here to see an example of hers. Or here to participate and see what everyone else comes up with. I can't wait to junk my pumpkin now! I bought a baby one over the weekend, but I don't know what I'm going to do with him yet. The contest ends Oct. 31st, so hurry, and junk your pumpkins! :D

SCBWI

All right, here's another SCBWI newsletter with my work in it. I've only got one pic in this one, but it's one of my favorites. :) I love halloween, so one of my pics for the fall issue was a cemetary with ghosts and a haunted house. It's at the end of the issue, so you'll have to scroll down to find it. Here's the link for you to enjoy it. :)
